TVET Operations and Management
The Technical Vocational Education and Training Operations and Management (TVET O&M) Department is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) nationwide. The Department comprises four divisions that guide TVET provision across public and privately licensed TVET providers, as well as work-based training:
Business Social Development Education and Training (BSDET) – responsible for non-engineering and science- and technology-based technical training colleges.
Operating Procedures and Standards (OPS) – responsible for TVET policy standards, strategies, operating procedures, and guidelines.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) – responsible for Vocational Training Institutions (VTIs) and Skills Development Centres (SDCs).
Technical Polytechnics Education and Training (TPET) – responsible for engineering and science- and technology-based technical training colleges.
